Proverbs 27:2 Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips.” Yes, “care enough about yourself to self-love” but avoid self-praise at all cost. It’s okay to encourage self (in humility); the fall doesn’t come until encouragement turns into praise. For praise produces pride!

Let’s ask ourselves, today, “who do men say that I am” and humble ourselves accordingly. Would they even say “Child of God”?! *Ouch*
