Psalm 4:1Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.”

When God is silent, our own merit/doing isn’t enough to make Him respond. Sometimes we have to get desperate in prayer; “Hear me for thy mercy-sake Lord!” “Do not pass me by!!” We ought to let David be our example…and plead past mercies for present favor, as we stand on past favor as grounds for future hope!!
